Studs and Stilettos had me up all night to finish reading. Very few stories allow me to escape into them. Pettersen’s skill in weaving facts, characters and plot is seamless.

Historical Romance is normally my preferred genre, but I may expand my preference to include modern-day Romance novels after reading Studs and Stilettos. The characters were well developed, both H & H were likable, with great secondary characters, the animals and a decades old murder mystery made it an exceptional story.
