This is a very good read, and unlike some of the books I’ve read in the past….this one just seemed to flow so effortlessly. This may be part of a series, but it can also be read as a stand alone. Would I recommend this book? Yes!

I loved this book. I love the characters, especially Charlie and Jake and I loved their relationship. I would not hesitate to re-read this book either. The story has enough of a ‘suspended in time’ feeling that it would not get old.

Although I do not normally read contemporary novels, I found myself greatly enjoying this one. With endearing secondary characters and a subtle romance, this is not to be missed.
