“The author does a good job at developing the characters and gives them great chemistry.” -Reader & Reviewer

The sleepy town of Liberty hasn't seen murder in…well…ever. Residents are stunned when the body of a young woman is found strangled, and reporters at the Liberty Chronicle are thrilled, rather disturbingly, over the biggest news story to hit town this century. Lizzie Hart has even bigger problems. Lately, she can't seem to concentrate on her job as copy editor at the Chronicle with the new hunky investigative reporter, Blake Morgan, swaggering around the office.

How can a girl work when she's using all of her energy combating Blake-induced hot flashes and struggling to repress the giggly inner schoolgirl that's constantly rearing her dorky head? It's a good thing that Blake barely knows Lizzie exists. After an odd string of events, however, Lizzie begins to wonder if Blake is really as fabulous as she has fantasized. When Lizzie and Blake find a co-worker dead, Blake's personality changes completely—and not in a good way.

Even though the police rule the death as an accident, Lizzie immediately suspects foul play and senses a connection to the recent murder. She is determined to bring the killer to justice, but is having some trouble getting her Nancy Drew on thanks to the pesky stalker she's picked up—Blake Morgan. Wait, didn't she want him to follow her around and pay attention to her? Not like this. Blake has turned from cool and smooth to cold and downright scary, making Lizzie wonder if he should be next on her suspect list.

What happens when dementia, depressed dipsomania and downright dottiness decide to uproot from the UK and move to France together. Worried by the lack of care for her frail elderly mother in the UK, Tottie decides a new life elsewhere might be the answer.

Sell the Pig is a travel tale with a twist, describing with alternating humour and poignancy how a somewhat dysfunctional family decide to uproot and move to rural France.

Eccentric Tottie, her manic depressive alcoholic brother, their mother, whose dementia has given her an obsession with bums, and an equally elderly border collie, decide France’s Auvergne is to be their new home. This is the story of what led them to make that journey.

Embracing Quincy, Our Journey Together
by Katie Marsh
Rating: 4.9 Stars
Genre: Memoirs and Biographies
Price: $0.00 Save $14.95
Subject to change back to full price at any time.

What happens when you’re told your baby will not live? And if by some miracle she does live, she will be extremely disabled?

When a high-tech ultrasound at 22 weeks revealed that Quincy may have a rare genetic disorder called trisomy 18, the Marsh family was given a choice: to terminate or to continue Embracing Quincy.

Embracing Quincy takes you on the path almost never traveled by a couple that is decidedly not religious but very spiritually oriented.

It shows you a naked glimpse into their personal lives, their travels and their mystical journey with their trisomy 18 baby Quincy.

Embracing Quincy is full of stories of love, humor, psychic phenomena and mystical coincidences that will make even the most skeptical start to question their beliefs.

This book will take you to far away lands as it weaves Quincy’s story in and out of the Marsh’s moves and travels and search for creating a sustainable farm on which to raise their family.

This book non-judgmentally explores issues such as “pro life” versus “pro choice” abortion decisions, karma and reincarnation, the possibility of effecting miracles through quantum physics and the law of attraction, and the power of prayer in large numbers.

Most of all, Embracing Quincy shows what a mother and father will do for the love of their unborn baby.

When Katy Logan moves her troubled teen daughter Jett to the Appalachian community of Solom, she envisions a peaceful rural lifestyle on her new husband’s farm.

But there’s more to Solom than she ever imagined. Gordon Smith’s first wife Rebecca died under mysterious circumstances, and Katy believes her spirit is still in the house. Gordon’s great-grandfather was a horseback preacher who vanished while on a mission one wintry night, and local lore holds that he returns from time to time seeking vengeance. And Gordon teases Katy and Jett with a story about a wicked scarecrow that comes in from the fields at night to slake an unnatural thirst.

When the legends come to life, Katy and Jett discover the Smith family secrets cut deep. And they must face the supernatural menace together or become part of Solom’s legends forever.

About The Author

I believe the writer only creates half the story, and that you complete it by bringing your imagination, experience, and heart to the tale. I am happy to share the journey with you.

I’ve written more than 20 novels, about 80 short stories, four children’s books, some comic books, screenplays, and a couple of non-fiction books, as well as five collaborations with J.R. Rain. Many of my tales are based on supernatural legends from the Southern Appalachian Mountains, and I also write mystery and suspense thrillers that are most often compared to the work of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

I’ve also published Liquid Fear and Chronic Fear with Amazon’s Thomas & Mercer imprint, as well as a number of audiobooks and foreign translations. I love hearing from you, because you’re the reason I do this, so let’s connect!

Thank you for considering today’s Book Of The Day – Scott Nicholson and ENT appreciate it.

“Well written, well detailed and remarkable book for truly a great man, priest, Pope and soon to be Saint.” -Jay

On July 5, Pope Francis approved John Paul for sainthood, saying that Pope John XXIII and John Paul II will be canonized together.

The date has not yet been established, although December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception has been suggested. Irrespective of the details, John Paul’s canonization appears imminent.

From Poland, John Paul’s longtime private secretary, Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, rejoiced at the news. “I thank God that I will live to see the elevation to sainthood the person who I served with love to the last beating of his heart,” he stated.

Abraham Foxman, as director of the Jewish organization the Anti-Defamation League, received four audiences with Pope John Paul. He spoke for John Paul’s numerous supporters when he said, “For many of us Pope John Paul is already a saint, this just formalizes it.”

John Paul’s pontificate lasted nearly twenty-seven years, one of the longest in papal history. During that time he had an unprecedented amount of contact with the public, including Catholics, non-Catholics, and foreign leaders.

He made 104 pastoral visits outside Italy, and 146 within. The Vatican estimates that more than 17.6 million pilgrims participated in his regular Wednesday general audiences alone.

He made 38 official visits and met with government leaders on 984 different occasions.
