Amazon Bestselling and Award-Winning Authors

Now together for the first time, six complete Christian, historical, western romances from bestselling authors you know and love. Each of these stories, whether novella length or full length, will transport you back to a time when outlaws ran free, the land was wild, and guns blazed at the drop of a hat.

Rocky Mountain Oasis, by Lynnette Bonner
When Sky Jordan hears that his nefarious cousin has sent for a mail-order bride, he knows he has to prevent the marriage. No woman deserves to be left to that fate. Still, he’s as surprised as anyone to find himself standing next to her before the minister.

Brooke’s new husband turns out to be kinder than any man has ever been. But then the unthinkable happens and she holds the key that might save innocent lives but destroy Sky all in one fell swoop. It’s a choice too unbearable to contemplate…but a choice that must be made.

The Debutante Queen, by Angela Breidenbach
1889 (Helena, MT): Calista Blythe enters the first Miss Snowflake Pageant celebrating Montana statehood to expose the plight of street urchins. But hiding an indentured orphan could unravel Calista's reputation, and her budding romance with pageant organizer, Albert Shanahan, if her secret is revealed. Will love or law prevail?

Almost Home, by Susan Page Davis
Patricia Logan leaves her friend's party in Denver and heads for home at her uncle's ranch. Her ride is sidelined by the storm. A chance meeting with Jared Booker, an old friend, prompts Patricia to beg for a lift. They set out on horseback and become snowbound for two days in a shack with a crotchety midwife and their past. Can they rekindle their old camaraderie and see it transform into lasting love?

A Breed Apart, by Vickie McDonough
The only thing Sarah Ames is good at is training horses. Her family wants to see her married. When her pa hires a stranger to take her job at their ranch, Sarah is hurt and angry. She suspects the handsome half-breed is a rustler and keeps her eye on him, but the man seems surprisingly above reproach. When cattle go missing, Sarah no longer wants to believe Carson is the thief. Could Carson have stolen her heart as well as the cattle?

When all my Dreams Come True, by Janelle Mowery
Bobbie McIntyre dreams of running a ranch of her own. Raised without a mother and having spent most of her time around men, she knows more about wrangling than acting like a lady. Still, the friendship of her new employer awakens a desire to learn more about presenting her feminine side…but ranch life keeps getting in the way.

Ranch owner Jace Kincaid figures the Lord is testing his faith when a female wrangler shows up looking for work. Bobbie has an uncanny way of getting under his skin, though, and he's surprised when she finds a home next to his heart. But when his cattle begin to go missing and his wranglers are in danger from some low-down cattle thief, will Jace trust God, even if it means giving up his dreams?

Mismatched in Texas, by Janice Thompson
In the quaint community of Poetry, Texas, Belinda Bauer spies an opportunity. The tiny town is filled with loggers and railroad men in need of wives, so she sets herself up as a marriage broker. At her invitation, potential brides begin to arrive in Poetry.

There's only one problem: Belinda doesn't have a clue what she's doing and all the brides marry the wrong men! One client is particularly unhappy. George Kaufman, the local barber, has lost more than one prospective wife to Belinda's fumbled attempts. For some reason, she just can't seem to find George's “perfect match,” though it's not for lack of trying. Is there a poetic ending in store for George— and for Belinda, herself?

It becomes obvious that the generator has no apparent power source. And Eli Whitney was only the first to die because of the machine.

Who is trying to stop them?

"It was a gift she never wanted, but Riley hoped it would be enough to save him."

In recent years, Riley Thompson has developed a gift, if anyone would really call it that. The ten year old girl from a small town in Indiana doesn't understand why she can feel what others feel, or see what others have seen. She only knows the hurt upon looking into the eyes of her mother—the beneficiary of her father's recent run of bad luck. A streak that has hardened his heart and often finds him drowning in the bottom of a bottle. She tries hard to be just like the other fifth graders, but life at home is hard and the pain is difficult to endure.

It isn't until the day Riley meets Carl Boyd, a Vietnam veteran, that everything changes. Visions of a terrible past, not just from war, but from a life that has stolen much from him, begins to surface in Riley's mind. But this is far more intense and frightening than anything she has experienced before.

Riley discovers her gift is quickly evolving and finds herself swimming in the memories of Carl Boyd, and experiencing a past he can't put behind him. Even more troubling; perceiving a future of which he doesn't yet know — a future filled with danger.

All are reluctant to come to terms with Riley's ability, especially her father. But then, he has seen this before.

A historical family saga spanning four generations, from 1912, Kent, England, to Spain and its 1936–39 civil war.

Celia and Ernesto's two sons march under opposing banners, whilst their daughters take different paths, one to the Catholic Church and the other to the battlefields, and in the shadow of war, an evil ghost from the past watches and waits for an opportunity to destroy the entire family. In exile, Celia and Ernesto can only wait and pray for their children and their safe return home..

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

Compelling reading, Jana Pekten conjures fantastic imagery and heartfelt characters. Although very long do not be put off, this book is well worth your time. It will lead you through a whole gamut of emotions and spit you out at the other end feeling better for the journey. Highly Recommended.

The Guardian of Secrets is an incredibly rich and well written historical saga. This is the first book that I have read by author Jan Petken and I am very impressed with her writing style and ability to create an intricate and well developed story line that is also a page turner.

I found this epic family saga that spans several decades a riveting read. The author skillfully transported me back in time and I felt very grounded in England and later Spain in this historic era, which centered around the time of the Spanish Civil War. This work of historical fiction filled with war, violence, love and heartache and rife with well-developed, complex characters shouldn’t be missed.

A powerful debut novel, brilliantly conceived and written, an epic piece that develops complex characters and universal theme. A must read for fans of historical novels. Look for more from the pen of Jana Petken. Recommended.

Jana Petken is a wonderful storyteller with an great imagination. The characters were amazing with incredible stories that stir sadness, anger, and made me happy, at various times. Joseph Dobbs is probably one of the best villains I have ever read. This is an unforgettable book and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves reading.

About The Author

Hello everyone. I lived out my childhood days in, Dénia, on the beautiful eastern coast of Spain and have after a long adventure returned there to live on a permanent basis.

I joined the (British) Royal Navy at the age of seventeen. I was a leading Naval Policewoman, equivalent to a sergeant in the military police. I would like to think that the Navy taught me discipline and Respect for others.

After the Navy, I went to work for a travel company as an overseas representative. Seasons in the Balearic Islands, followed by the Canary Islands and North Africa awakened my interest in “people studying.”

During the first Gulf War I was a security guard at the BBC World Service radio station. After I left the BBC, I spent twelve years as a bodyguard for a Saudi Princess.

Later, I found a new career as a cabin-crew member for British Airways, which allowed me to travel extensively to every corner of the world, at least two or three times. I have never been to New Zealand – a pity, or to Iran, which would have been an eye opener.

Unfortunately, I had an accident on board a flight. The aircraft, a Boeing 747, was flying at 39,000 feet above Africa when it was caught in clear-air turbulence. As the plane dropped my body flew upward causing my head to hit the cabin’s ceiling. As a result of this accident, I have had three major operations on my spinal cord and am now retired. I missed the busy and interesting experiences that my job had brought me, thus turning my attention to writing.

The award winning, The Guardian of Secrets was my first major work of, historical fiction. That was followed by, Mercy Carver, Dark Shadows, book 1, and Blood Moon, book 2. My new novel is a historical thriller, The Errant Flock.

It’s nice to meet you all…

Thank you for considering today’s Book Of The Day – Jana Petken and ENT appreciate it.

The gods play…and mortals pay.

Latter-Day Olympians, Book 1

Tori Karacis's family line may trace back to a drunken liaison between the god Pan and one of the immortal gorgons. Or…maybe it's just coincidence that her glance can, literally, stop men in their tracks. While her fear of heights kept her out of the family aerobatic troupe, her extreme nosiness fits right in with her uncle's P.I. business.

Except he's disappeared on an Odyssean journey to find himself. Muddling through on her own, she's reduced to hunting (not stalking, because that would just be weird) brass-bra'd Hollywood agent Circe Holland to deliver a message…only to witness her murder by what looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Suddenly, all of her family's tall tales seem believable, especially when Apollo—the Apollo, who's now hiding out among humans as an adult film star—appears in her office, looking to hire her. She knows the drill: canoodling with gods never works out well for humans, but she's irresistibly drawn to him. Maybe it's her genes. Maybe not.

Given her conflicted feelings for one hot and hardened cop, it's a toss-up which will kill her quickest. The danger at her door…or her love life.

People wouldn’t understand if they learned that teams in the Tournament have the freedom to do almost anything, anywhere, to win.

The Tournament was supposed to be the perfect game, and the perfect secret. Frank Youngsmith, a hapless insurance agent, was supposed to be a nobody, none the wiser. But sometimes things just don’t work out like they’re supposed to. When Frank stumbles into the dark world of the Tournament when the game is on, it’s up to him to expose the secret…or die trying.

Grey Winter (Book 2)

Two players have been murdered. Two killers are on the loose. Nothing is what it seems.

The world is awake now. The Tournament has captivated everyone, but no winner can be declared until the mystery of what happened to Team Blue is solved. Meanwhile, three new players are chosen to rebuild the fallen team, but they are young and inexperienced, and instantly targeted. Their survival is dependent upon their existence remaining a secret. But in the Tournament, secrets are hard to keep.

New alliances are formed, old enemies are confronted, and the truth is finally revealed in Grey Winter.

Black Spring (Book 3)

The Black House gathers power and the remaining teams are divided. The Tournament will fall into the hands of Eddie Mazaryk and Team Black unless Ellie Willmore and Team Blue can stop them. But to stop Black, Ellie needs to pull off a miracle: unite sworn enemies to beat the best of the best.

The stakes have never been higher. The winners own the Tournament. The losers forfeit everything…even their lives.

Ties of friendship, love, and hate are put to the test under a hail of gunfire in Black Spring, the spectacular conclusion to The Tournament Trilogy.
