A great novel with mystery and puzzle solving. Can you intertwine the links and figure out the story before the end? I was hesitant at first because I thought maybe this book would be too young for me but I caught myself being wrapped up in the events and having a soft spot in my heart for everything that Felix is experiencing or experienced.

Once you get into this book it is a real page turner and has you wondering what happens next. I am looking forward to the next book in this series to find out what happens to Felix and his friends as they are not ALL in danger.

This is an extremely exciting, terrifically twisted, blood curdling good time! I'm so glad to have been given the chance to read it and I'm looking forward to digging in to book 2 as soon as it comes out! I will absolutely be recommending Felix for fans of dark fantasy.

The best kind of fiction ensures that it has a strong plot, believable characters, and a certain awareness of reality. All of these requirements, including colorful commentaries on youth violence and the presence of magic in the mundane makes The Felix Chronicles: Freshman an entertaining read.
